Week 17 :)

What has happened to us this week: Well, this week wasn't that busy. We had storms down here so Julietta and I stayed in the house most of the week. I did school work, and Julietta either played with play dough or watched some movies. I've been feeling pretty good. Not even really needed naps everyday. I take a nap about every other day! I have felt the baby move a lot more. Julietta has had some issues falling asleep at night. Not really sure what the problem is. Maybe needing to cut down her afternoon nap, not sure?! This past weekend though we took Julietta to her first airshow! She had fun at first but after she saw the first airplane and then the helicopters (which she LOVES helicopters) she was not very interested! She did like to touch the ones that were on display on the ground however. Randy and I are still debating about what sex the baby is. I really think it's a boy. That just doesn't change. But we'll see! Hopefully on April 7th!

What's going on with the baby this week: Your baby's skeleton is changing from soft cartilage to bone, and the umbilical cord — her lifeline to the placenta — is growing stronger and thicker. Your baby weighs 5 ounces now (about the size of a turnip) , and she's around 5 inches long from head to bottom. She can move her joints, and her sweat glands are starting to develop.
