21 weeks!

WHAT'S UP WITH US!?
Our friend Travis came down to visit for a week and that was great fun! We hadn't seen him since we moved so it was a much wanted visit! Julietta had a blast with him, and was so excited to see him! We went to our pool this weekend and Jules still doesn't want to really get in. She rode around on her turtle for a bit, and then sat on the edge kicking. I'm not sure what to do. Last year she loved the pool, and this year she seems a little bit scared. I'm hoping that we can get up to Al and Laura's and when she sees Sawyer having such a fun time she'll get in! We have a countdown now! Randy graduates in about a week in a half :) We'll probably stay around about another week and then start the move on the 17th, is the plan. However, we haven't found a house so that could delay things! Please pray that we found a great house in a good neighborhood for the right price. Other news right now it looks like Randy won't deploy when he went to VA, so that's good.
WHAT'S UP WITH BABY BOY!?
Well he's still a mover! He kicks and punches me all day. He really like to kick my bladder. I've been feeling pretty good. I've got some bad back pain sometimes and our couch sinks so sometimes sitting on our couch is pretty uncomfy! Other than that though I've been feeling good. I think I'm about at 9 pounds of gain right now. Which I just hate watching the scale go up, so... we'll see. Since they'll do the C-Section at 39 weeks, I only have 18 more weeks to go for sure. Maybe less if he comes early like Jules. So here's my belly picture for 21 weeks. There's no denying it now! haha :)

Your baby now weighs about three-quarters of a pound and is approximately 10 1/2 inches long. You may soon feel like he's practicing martial arts as his initial fluttering movements turn into full-fledged kicks and nudges. You may also discover a pattern to his activity as you get to know him better. In other developments, your baby's eyebrows and lids are present now. Here's an inside the utero shot of what he should look like!

20 weeks

Well, we never got around to taking a 20 week picture! I know, I'm horrible :) Nothing really went on last week either.
WHAT'S UP WITH THE BABY:
Your baby weighs about 10 1/2 ounces now. He's also around 6 1/2 inches long from head to bottom and about 10 inches from head to heel (For the first 20 weeks, when a baby's legs are curled up against his torso and hard to measure, measurements are taken from the top of his head to his bottom — the "crown to rump" measurement. After 20 weeks, he's measured from head to toe.)

He's swallowing more these days, which is good practice for his digestive system. He's also producing meconium, a black, sticky by-product of digestion. This gooey substance will accumulate in his bowels, and you'll see it in his first soiled diaper (some babies pass meconium in the womb or during delivery).

WHAT'S UP WITH US:
well this week, not much went on. We are just trying to deceide when we are moving, and finding a house to move into! Other than that nothing new. Baby boy moves A LOT. I didn't keep a journal or pictures or anything with Julietta which is really sad and makes me mad. So I don't remember everything but I think he moves a lot more than she did. We don't really have a name either! haha. Just that we are going to do the nursery in star wars :)

Happy Easter and 19 weeks!

WHAT'S GOING ON WITH US:
this week was a good week! Of course I had those doctors appointments but, we just had a fun weekend. Julietta and I went to the park friday afternoon. Since we've moved here she has become a little timid. She doesn't like to walk on the playground because it has small holes in it. Well friday, she took off! She was running and having a ball. Saturday we just hung around the house in the morning and then Saturday afternoon after nap we went out to the mall and then to the beach. Julietta went to the book store with Randy while I went to target to get easter basket stuff and she loved going someplace with just daddy! Sunday we got up and went to church and Julietta had a great time playing with the kids. Then we came home and she ate the candy that they gave her at church, and took a nap. Then we had our easter egg hunt and she ate candy for awhile! Needless to say last night she was HYPER! We couldn't get her to stop! She was really hilarious :) Randy is doing great in the art compitition he's gotten several awesome feedback so we're excited to see where he'll place. They are doing their last little bit of work stuff and then they have a week in the field before graduation. I was able to schedule my next appointment for May 8th and Rands will not be in work so he will finally be able to go and see an ultrasound of this one. We still have no names! However the little boy is a moving machine. He kicks my bladder a lot! Around 5:30 he starts to get REALLY active. Randy was actually able to feel him kick the other night. A lot earlier than with Julietta, and he seems a lot more active! Great! hehe.

WHAT'S UP WITH BABY! :
Your baby's sensory development is exploding! Her brain is designating specialized areas for smell, taste, hearing, vision, and touch. Some research suggests that she may be able to hear your voice now, so don't be shy about reading aloud, talking to her, or singing a happy tune if the mood strikes you.

Your baby weighs about 8 1/2 ounces and measures 6 inches, head to bottom. His arms and legs are in the right proportions to each other and the rest of her body now. His kidneys continue to make urine and the hair on his scalp is sprouting. A waxy protective coating called the vernix caseosa is forming on his skin to prevent it from pickling in the amniotic fluid.

IT'S A....... ;)

DOCTOR'S VISITS!
well this week I had 2 doctors appointments. I met with the Perinatal doctor and he did an ultrasound and then looked at my blood work. All the screens for birth defeats came back negative. The baby looked healthy in the ultrasound, including the spine and the flow to the brain which is what they were concerned with about my antibody. Now the news with my blood. I have an antibody anti-S in my blood. The specialist believes I got it from the miscarriage this past year. He said that my body most likely just built it up because of something to do with the miscarriage. They also ran a tighter on the blood work to get the number, and I had a 1-2 number. They go up into 1-4, 1-8, 1-12, and then 1-16 and so forth. They do not really worry about it until it gets to 1-12 or really 1-16. So that looks good like it will not be an issue. He is having me get the blood work done again in 3 weeks to check the number. I gained 4 pound this month so I'm now at a 6-7 pound gain so far. So..... I need to keep a watch on it, because I do not want to gain more than 25 pounds!

Now about that ultrasound......

I got there and asked the tech if she would tell me if they could see and she said yes. So she put the tool and it was right where the legs were and they were apart and she goes "YEP, that's a boy!" And then they did a lot of measuring, and looking at all the bones and everything. It was neat to see. He had his little feet crossed at the ankles and was just chilling in there until I said he's not really moving, and then he kicked out his legs and starting kicking like crazy! They also said that he was weighing about 10 ounces. Which is a little bigger than what babycenter said but about right! Now we just have to pick out names. Julietta actually showed excitement! Now, she keeps saying that's baby brother growing in mommy's belly. When he comes out I want to play with him! How sweet is that?!
So here's the pictures!!!!
Okay, the top two pics are of a profile with his hand over his face, and then his little feet!
Then the next two pics are of little boy parts, and then his leg. You can kinda see the thigh, calf, and then the feet and the feet are crossed in this pic.
Then the bottom two pics are boy parts and profile again :)

18 weeks

WHAT'S GOING ON WITH US:
well.... let's see. Nothing really new to report on us this week. We still haven't heard where we are going. Randy's graduates a month from tomorrow, so we are crossing our fingers that we hear this week! Everything would be so different for each place so we really can not plan at all. Randy's parents are coming to his graduation, and we are super excited about that. They are planning on leaving the states sometime in the future, so this could be the last visit for another long stretch. So, we are glad we'll get to see them next month. Randy is also entering in an art competition online. He's excited though because it's through one of the companies that he would love to work with, but it's a way to get his name out there!

WHAT'S GOING ON WITH PREGNANCY:
Not much happened this week. I've been feeling the baby move more and more. Last night I actually felt the baby from the outside. I think it was just a really BIG kick, because it's still pretty early to be feeling that. Other than that I've been feeling pretty good. My back hurts a good but, and I've had the round ligament pain ALOT. Tomorrow (Tuesday) is our appointment with the specialist. We should know more about my blood issues tomorrow. Also they are doing an ultrasound soooo..... we are hoping to find out what we are having! I will update more with that tomorrow!

WHAT'S GOING ON WITH BABY:
Head to rump, your baby is about 5 1/2 inches long and he weighs almost 7 ounces. He's busy flexing his arms and legs — movements that you'll start noticing more and more in the weeks ahead. His blood vessels are visible through his thin skin, and his ears are now in their final position, although they're still standing out from his head a bit. A protective covering of myelin is beginning to form around his nerves, a process that will continue for a year after he's born. If you're having a girl, her uterus and fallopian tubes are formed and in place. If you're having a boy, his genitals are noticeable now, but he may hide them from you during an ultrasound.

HERE'S the 18 week belly shot :
