Going Vegan
So tomorrow I am going to fully commit to going vegan for one month. I watched Forks over Knives awhile ago and have been thinking about it, but I am committing! My husband is not down so it'll be an interesting month of cooking but I am super super excited. I am hoping that this will help me lose weight and also help my insides feel better! Because Randy is sick of hearing me talk about it and I know some on facebook are not going to want to hear about it, I will be blogging on here pretty regularly about my vegan month! :) I will most likely post some before-mid-and after pictures as well. I went to Trader Joes today and stocked up for the first week, so I'm ready to go!!!

The last two months
The last two months have been hard and long on us here health wise. Kyleigh has had double ear infections for a while. She was on two courses of antibiotics for 3 weeks, and then she had to get a shot 3 days in a row of a stronger antibiotic. I am pleased to say that as of right now they are cleared up. However, the very next day Kyleigh came down with hand, foot, mouth disease. YAY! Then, several days later as Kyleigh was getting better and sleeping and being happier during the day, Julietta got pink eye in each eye. Soooooo this has been my least favorite beginning to the year, but we are all ok! Here are a couple pictures that are what my days are like.
Kyleigh is 13 months. She is still not walking or standing on her own. She has stood for about 15 seconds and she has taken about 2 steps, but these are not a daily thing at all. She will do it when she is ready though so I am not concerned.
The other big girl things that are going on in our house is Etta has a wiggly tooth, and Kyleigh is finally getting her first tooth! I will post pictures of both of these things when they finally happen.
I have bought a potty and big boy underwear for Ender. He does not want to do it though, so I am stuck inbetween wanting to push for my sake but knowing I need to wait until he is ready... but WE are ready :)
I am going to try to do better with blogging it's just been pretty crazy lately here.
Randy is going out to California next week for a week, and I am praying that something happens out there job wise. I am open to anything the Lord has to offer us, but I am also really praying that it is letting us stay in Raleigh. But as I said the Lord's ways are not necessarily my ways, so I know that this may not be what he wants for us.

Happy 1st Birthday
Kyleigh Aurora has been in our lives for a year! I can not believe how fast this year went by. Kyleigh's birthday was on a Saturday and I spent pretty much all of Friday night in tears! I was looking at her newborn pictures and I found it so sad that she was no longer a "baby". Yes she will be a baby until she is 2 and since she is so small it makes her seem younger, but still she is officially one and it's sad!
We had a great birthday for Kyleigh. We all woke up and had breakfast together. We then went over to my mom's house and my brothers family came over and we had lunch and cupcakes. Kyleigh loved being the center of attention.
I took Kyleigh to the doctor this week. She weighs 17.4 pounds and is 28.75 inches tall. She is in the 20% for weight and is in the 40% for height. As always her head is in the 10%. All my babies have small heads :) She is a healthy happy girly :)

Christmas
So, I got on today to upload all of Kyleigh's one year pictures and realized I never did Christmas.
So a quick Christmas post. We had a wonderful Christmas season. Randy took Etta and Ender to go pick out a tree. Etta loved it and picked out the perfect tree, Ender however did not like the trees at the store so he was freaked out until we got home.
Our house felt so special with the tree up. We feel so blessed that we have been out of the army and living here a year. We love our new life, and it was a wonderful Christmas. It was awesome to wake up in our house and have Christmas morning here and then go over to my moms and have lunch and open presents and play with the cousins there. Merry Christmas (late!)

Thankful are We.
I am thankful for sweet smiles from my children! They truly are the loves of my life and they bring such joy to me and Randy.
Thankful for my mom and my brother :)
I am thankful for a brother and sister in law who have been so wonderful to me and my children!
I am thankful for my wonderful sister in law who can get a photo like this on a day that is as crazy as thanksgiving. If you only knew :) Librande family just think about Ender during family pictures in June. It was that :)
Thanksgiving is always a fun time for us because it's around the time of our anniversary. This year was even more fun because it was the exact same way as it was the year we got married; the day after thanksgiving. It's hard to believe it's already been 6 years. I am so thankful for my husband and for the family he gave me. I am also so thankful for God's redemption and promise that is shown in marriage.
I am thankful for my big family. It is not very big but it sure is fun.
And I am thankful that my kids have a loving Nana. She loves them with all her heart, and she gives everything she can to them!
We had a great Thanksgiving. As usual we went over to my brothers house and my sister in law's family came as well. It is wonderful to have both sides of the family together. It is also fun that we all get along and it can just be a fun time. I love thanksgiving with my family and I love that I only had to cook stuffing and brownies, but what I found this year is not fun is that there are no left overs when you don't cook or it's not at your house. :( Next year we will have to rectify this!!!
