jokes
Julietta has started making up her own jokes. 99.9% of the time they don't make sense, but we laugh at how much they make her laugh and smile. My favorite one right now is "What do you call a cat who jumps over your window? A Doughnut!" Just had to share. She also lovessss knock knock jokes!

4 months old!
Our little Smiley Kyleigh is four month old! I can't believe how fast time is flying. It amazes me. One of my dear friends Sarah is pregnant with her second. She found out at our house right before Kyleigh was born and I can't believe that she's already 4+ months pregnant! Time is just going crazy.
Anyhoo. Kyleigh is a ball. The past couple weeks have been big milestones for Kyleigh. She can roll both ways. She rolls like crazy. She also is now moving by pushing her legs. She's pretty mobile! It's cute to see but it's also a little scary because she's so young. Such a difference from Ender who did not roll over until he was 7 months. I will be shocked if Kyleigh isn't crawling by 6 months! She also laughed! It was so cute. She still hasn't done a big belly laugh but she did get a couple giggles out!
Our schedule is pretty hammered out now. We wake up around 7 (ugh!), and feed every 3 hours. She goes to bed after the 7:30ish feeding and I will wake her up at 11-11:30 to eat. Then she will sleep until 7. This is nice. I'm sure she might even be able to skip the 11 feeding but I am not even thinking about this because I want to keep my supply up.
On not good note we have thrush again. This on top of earlier this week I had a clogged duct. So fun times!
Kyleigh weighs a little over 12 pounds and is 24 inches tall :) She's our little Skinny Kyleigh as well!
Etta took this picture!!!! :)
First time in her excersaucer!

julietta
So the other day we were watching a space show, and Julietta asked what a solar system was. Randy told her and then she said very matter a factly "well you know daddy, mercury is the closest to the sun and so it's the hottest." (ummmmmmm) :) just had to put that in writing so I wouldn't forget !

orphans
Last night mom and I went to a banquet for Bethany Christian Services. This is the adoption agency that my parents adopted me through. It was a fundraiser but I was really moved.
I did not take notes so I don't remember exact stats but..... if one out of every three Christians were to adopt an orphan there would be no more orphans in the world! Can you believe that? Thank you Brad and Angelina for doing your part! Also there are 250 children alone in Wake county that are available for adoption right now. There were 200 plus people at the dinner last night, done! There are 400+ churchs in Wake county. All it would take would be one couple out of every half of those churchs (give or take). That's amazing to think about.
I of course cried a lot of night. At one point they said you are going to go home and give your kids and hug and kiss, and wake up with them smiling and give them a nice meal in the morning, there are 250 kids in this area that don't have that. That's heartbreaking to think of one of my children waking up and not feeling loved.
So all this to say is they need help. We are not in a place to do anything financial but when we are I would like to help out. Also I really would love to work for them. I am going to start praying for the right job. I graduated yesterday!!!! I want/need to be around my children but a lot of their positions are part-time and I would love nothing more than to do that while I'm working on my masters. They have a pregnancy counselor and that's what I really want to do. So I'm praying that God will open something up either here or at a crisis pregnancy center. I would love to say that God impressed upon my heart to adopt a child. He definitely put a thought there, but I am not sure that we are the right people to adopt. I am not sure that's what we are called to do. Maybe, but not right now. However, I do KNOW that I am called to work with pregnancy women in crisis. So pray with me that God will start using me and will open up a place for me to do this!
Also a big thanks to my mother and my birth mother! I can not say how thankful I am that you choose life Viv. I would not be anything without you. That is the truest statement I can make because I would not be here if it weren't for you. Thank you for loving me, thank you for carrying me to term, thank you for loving me enough to choose a loving home. Thank you for loving me for 18 years from afar before you got to know me again, and thank you for loving me still. I owe you my life and I am eternally grateful and eternally yours! Thank you Mom for loving me before you even got the call. Thank you for providing a loving home while I was growing up. Thank you for wanting me and never making me feel like I was different and not belonging. I would also not be who I am today without you. I am one blessed lady to have two mothers in my life!

update on my goals!
Soooooo life in my changes is going great! I have been cooking a ton and I am LOVING it! Really, I am honestly loving it. I have found some awesome recipes that we will use a ton and already have had a couple times, and I have also had some yucky ones. I have made things such as chicken marsala (a recipe that is a copy cat of Carabas!), chicken salad sliders, lasagna (grandma punkies recipe of course), baked potato soup, peanut butter salad, chicken with tomato cream sauce, shepherds pie, crab alfredo, buffalo chicken salad. Everything was awesome except the crab alfredo and the shepherds pie. The pie would've been awesome except the recipe called for blue cheese in the mashed potatos, and while I generally like blue cheese it was not good in this, it made it really sour! The crab alfredo was supposed to be a copy cat of the dish at red lobster and I love that dish.... it was so bad we didn't even eat it at all... we actually got Jimmy Johns that night!
I am adding more and more dishes every week. I'm pretty much making new stuff every night. This week we are going to have balsamic cod, beef straughnoff, sliders again, tacos (nothing new), baked potato soup again, and an asian chicken dish that goes in the crock pot. I am in NEED of some new kitchen supplies for sure. But all in all I am loving this experience and really think I'll be sticking with it.
So on the running goal. I didn't start right away because it took me a really long time to get to the store to get shoes. It's amazing where the day goes with three kids and finishing my degree! But I finally got them almost two weeks ago and have completed week one and am on week two of my program! I am loving this as well. Not during but really after. It's so nice. I feel like I'm working toward a goal that is pretty hard for me and I am sticking with it. I am in terrible shape and have never been a runner so it's a little embarrassing when week one is run one minute walk for a minute in a half for 30 minutes and I am dying on the side of the road, but it feels really good when I'm done. This week is run for one and a half minutes and then walk for 2. I have actually enjoyed this week more because it seems to go by faster when you run for longer stretches. I think what I am loving most about it though is the feeling of taking my life back. I am outside in the sunshine working out and listening to music and just being me. It is a wonderful feeling and so thankful that my hubby is being supportive and watching the kids while I go do this. So far no impact on my weight, but we shall see what it does and I have started to watch what I'm eating this week so hopefully it starts to make a difference!

Kyleigh is 2 months!!!!! WHAT?!
Where has the time gone??? It seriously seems like she was born last week. Makes me sad! Life just keeps moving no matter what, and when you have little kids it moves so fast and this is the time you don't want it to move that fast. Anyway, I don't have any pictures for today but I did take her to the doctor yesterday so I wanted to post her stats so I don't forgot :)
She was 10 pounds 10 oz and 22 1/4 inches long. This is good for little girl. She was at the 25% at birth and at her 2 week check up but now she is at the 45%. YAY! Growing like a weed.
Some not so good news is that we both have thrush. I never had this with the other two so I'm kinda shocked to get getting it at 2 months, but here we are. So I am on a yeast medicine for the next 10 days and Kyleigh has to take an oral anti fungal medicine for the next 14 days. Then, I was correct and she has reflux. They did start her on Zantax. I am really hoping that this helps with the no napping issue and some of her nursing issues.
She also got her first sets of shots. Poor thing screamed so loud! I am pretty sure everyone in the next building heard her!
Our schedule is getting pretty well tuned in though. She is awake sometime between 8-9 and will eat every 3 hours throughout the day. She naps ok in her swing throughout the day. However, come 5:30 to 6 she pretty much screams until 8. I have tried almost everything and can't get her to calm down during that time. She then eats around 8- 8:30 and goes right to bed. I wake her up at 11 to eat. This is normally kinda hard to do since she's so sleepy. And then I let her sleep. Right now we are still about at a 6 hour stretch. She usually wakes up around 5. Then she eats and goes back to bed until 8ish. I am really having a hard time getting anything done. I have been pretty frustrated these past few days because I just feel like I'm juggling everything and just not mastering anything! So pray for me if you think about it :)
I will get some pics up soon!!!!
Also we have concluded that she does not have the milk protein allergy! The doctor did tell me to watch my milk intake and make sure it isn't that high because she is getting too much foremilk and that has all the lactose in it and so that is upsetting her tummy but no allergy!!! whoo hoo pizza on Sunday :)
