So, I don't have a picture yet but I thought I'd at least write about the doctors appointment this past Friday. On good news I gained about 4 pounds in 7 weeks so thankful that that slowed down some! On other kinda not so good news my blood pressure was up some more. It was at 130/84. They didn't freak out, but said well we'll worry about it once it hits 140/90. So, I'm thinking that's getting pretty close especially with how it went up with Julietta and how it was 110 or something when this pregnancy started. On other news, they referred me to a perinatal doctor up here. They should be calling me this week to schedule another ultrasound to check the blood flow and everything again. Also on another note, they are going to start scheduling nonstress tests at 32 weeks. They are once a week and two different places. I'm not sure if that means I have to go twice a week or if it's going to be a long day every week! The thing that stinks is Randy is leaving soon after that, and actually even if he were here, Julietta is going to have to come with me. We'll have to figure out something for her to do fun. My appointments are now every two weeks. So I'm just trying to figure out if I can go to Michigan and how long I can stay. I might have to fly back becuase mom's mom isn't doing so well so she wants to stay longer. Not sure if you can fly with high blood pressure or what they want. Hopefully I'll get an answer about that soon. Randy and I are going to do a tour of both hopsitals so we can deciede on which one we want to deliver at.
On other news, we found a church we loved! It's a church of probally about 500 members. It has a big church feel, but isn't that big. The music was great, upbeat but not charasmatic. But the great thing was the pastor. He graduated from Dallas, so oviousbly he was great! I really enjoyed it, and it was the first time I've been to church in a long time that I got something out of it! Everyone was super super friendly, and Juleitta LOVED the sunday school. We actually had to stay longer because she wasn't done playing and doing her crafts! The stinky thing is they don't have anything to do during the week for me or Julietta but that's okay. There's a HUGE baptist church that does MOPS and AWANA. I think I'm going to do both in the fall.
Anyway, other than that nothing much is up. Randy goes back to work tomorrow :( We're sad about that, but it had to end at some point! haha.

28 weeks
This week marks the last week that Randy has off of work. Julietta and I are going to miss him when he goes back to real life! We found out that he is leaving on the 21st for Florida. They will send him back sometime for the baby. Our first doctors appointment is on Friday, so we'll find out more of what they'll say about c-section and all that! Then Randy found out he is going somewhere for 3 months in January. Will help me get baby weight off! My goal is to be back to what I was before pregnancy by Christmas, and then back to my ideal weight when he gets back from that mission. Luckily, I have a friend here who is pregnant and she'll keep me on track because she wants to get really skinny too! Julietta and I went to the zoo this past week in Norfolk. We went with my friend and her two girls and it was great. It's not that big, so it's a great day trip! I plan to take the kids there a lot ;) Randy started school this week. He is very excited to get this degree underway! I bought a few clothing items for little boy. We still need to get more stuff for the nursery, and lots of miscellaneous items. I can tell that my blood pressure is already becoming an issue again. I've had a couple of "blackout" moments. I'm looking forward to talking to the doctor about that. But because of that, I'm pretty sure that I'll have the c-section by 38 weeks. That is my bet! Just hopefully not on the 21st, I'd really like them to not have the same birthday :) If that's the case though, we have less than 10 weeks! CRAZY :)
How your baby's growing:
By this week, your baby weighs two and a quarter pounds and measures 14.8 inches from the top of his head to his heels. He can blink his eyes, which now sport lashes. With his eyesight developing, he may be able to see the light that filters in through your womb. He's also developing billions of neurons in his brain and adding more body fat in preparation for life in the outside world. This week has been a fun one for me pregnant, because I not only feel the kicks and other movements, you can see like body parts and I can feel him more around. You can see the big movements too!

27 weekers
Well we are almost all settled in. No boxes left in the house!!! a whoo hoo :) We got my doctor sorted out after A LOT of talks with tricare and I have an appointment on the 19th. I ended up switching our coverage to the kind that allows me to pick my doctors but I have to pay small co-pays. We went with it because we were having so much trouble with the full coverage one. Then on full coverage I had to get permission to have a c-section. So... needless to say we're okay paying about 15 dollars a night for the hospital :)
Baby boy is growing like a weed. As am I! I didn't gain much in the past 5 weeks though which is nice. I'm at about 17 pounds. But I really don't want to gain much more. Hopefully the doctor here will schedule the c-section by 39 weeks which would be less than 12 weeks from now so that's exciting! I just want to hold the little boy, and see what he looks like ;) I definitely don't love pregnancy like some women do. I'm trying hard to be normal and not let it affect me because I want us to enjoy this time, and we are a lot more than Julietta but it does affect me. Randy was joking the other night and said it's like living with a handicap person. I went ahead and bought the bedding for the crib. I doubt we'll have a shower so I'm trying to get stuff here and there so it's not so much in the end. I looked up activities for Julietta in the area and I want to put her in ballerina lessons or gymnastics because she would love it so much, but it's so dag on expensive. We might do it later but we just can't afford another bill right now. However, come September there are several church's that offer AWANA and so I think we'll put her in that. She will love it! She does really good in sunday school now. She just walks right in and says hi to the other kids and has fun. This morning she asked if she could go to church. So I know I need to get her involved in some things. I've also thought about doing a MOPS here too.
We have made some dear friends here. The wife is a "friend" from high school. I say friend like that because we never really hung out or did anything, but we knew eachother. They have two little girls with Julietta right in the middle and she is pregnant ready to pop with a boy! But it has been an answer to prayer to have them here!
There is a zoo and an aquirium all within an hour from here. They offer year passes for the family that would pay itself off within 2 visit. I'm excited to do that, because it will be a great thing to do with the kids on the weekends, and even weekdays if I'm going crazy! Okay lots of babbeling, but here's the pictures :

26 weeks
So, I don't have a picture to put up with this post but I just wanted to post what was going on with us since it's been about a month! We are all moved in up in Newport News. We got a house literally two blocks from some friends! God really worked it out. The sign went up in the yard the day we drove in. We happened to miss the turn for their house and drove by it! They graciously let us crash at their house while we looked for a place. The house is in an older neighborhood as much of everything is up here. But we've got 3 bedrooms with an extra living room which is now really the man cave! The only major complaint I have is the bedrooms are crazy small and we only have 1 1/2 bath, but it's all hardwood and the kitchen has been redone. I will get pictures up of the house too! Randy is off work until the 19th or something like that, so we are very happy about that. Right now, we don't have a doctor up here yet waiting for Tricare to switch us up here. Then I have to go see a doctor on the airforce base and see if they will let me go off base. If not, then I'm going to switch our insurance to something that we would have to pay a tiny co-pay but I'd be able to pick my doctor. As of right now, they are saying that Julietta HAS to go on base so I'll worry about that when I get my OB worked out. As this rate I most likely won't see a doctor until about 30 weeks! Yikes :) With moving and the baby I am going to not push myself and stress about graduating in December. I'm going to finish the two classes I'm taking now and then take the rest of the summer off. At that point I'll have 4 classes left so I will take one at a time until graduation next May. That will be a really simple load for when we have baby boy, and will take a lot of stress off right now! I wanna keep my GPA up and not just take classes to get them over with.
Baby boy is growing great! I only gained about a pound to 2 pounds last month so that makes me REALLY happy! I think I am at about 16 to 17 pounds for the pregnancy so far. My belly has officially gotten to the point where it is in the way. We can watch him move now. That's kinda fun. He moves all day, but he sometimes will only do it once or twice so it's hard to catch it! The nursery is the only part that isn't all moved in, and I'll be working on that sometime this week.
That's a picture of what he's supposed to look like this week!
The network of nerves in your baby's ears is better developed and more sensitive than before. He may now be able to hear both your voice and your partner's as you chat with each other. He's inhaling and exhaling small amounts of amniotic fluid, which is essential for the development of his lungs. These so-called breathing movements are also good practice for when he's born and takes that first gulp of air. And he's continuing to put on baby fat. He now weighs about a pound and two-thirds and measures 14 inches from head to heel. If you're having a boy, his testicles are beginning to descend into his scrotum — a trip that will take about two to three days.

Julietta's words
Funny quotes from Julietta in the past couple weeks.
"Pooping makes me hungry!"
"Daddy your so weird!" (after watching Lion King)
"It smells INTERESTING!"
Those are just some random ones. She's been so funny though that I didn't want to forget her little sayings. I'll add some more as I think of them :)

Week 23 kinda
Well, we did not take a picture this past Sunday. So now here I am 23 weeks and 3 days and it's Wednesday and still no picture, so I'm just going to post without one! We had a very busy week last week! Randy's parents came in Wednesday and were here until Sunday! It was wonderful to see them. We've never really spent time alone with them and that was very special because who knows if and when we'll get to do that again! Then.... Randy graduated on Thursday! He's officially an army diver :) YAY! Friday was our appointment and everything went great. Little boy wouldn't move his hands or feet from his face to get a good shot. But he's measuring good. He was weighing about 1 pound and 6 ounces. I gained WAY too much weight this past month so I'm really watching it. As soon as we get to VA I've got some nutrisystem left so I'm going to do that for about a month to try to level it out! Very frustrating and dishearting! I wish I could be one of those TINY women pregnant and be adorable, guess not! And on Julietta and the ocean Randy just grabbed her on Friday and took her out, and she loved it! They were jumping the big waves. It's all she can talk about! We saw a pack of about 20 or more dolphins that were SO close. Randy was right up on one! That was pretty amazing! Then Sunday was mothers day, and Randy took his parents to the airport while I finished some school work. Then for dinner we went and got chinese. I have been craving Chinese food since we moved down here and we haven't found a place. So finally we went searching and it was AMAZING! So this next week is going to be VERY busy. We are packing up and leaving Sunday. We will get as far as we an that night and then make it the rest of the way to mom's on Monday. Then get all our baby stuff and leave Jules at mom's house and get to VA on Tuesday. Pray for us that we can find a place fast! So, I'm going to post some of the ultrasound pics and some pics with Randy's parents. I don't have a ton, his dad took a lot so I'm waiting for them to send them to me. Also there's a picture of Randy and I at his graduation. I look HUGE! I don't look that fat in person but it's the only one I got!
WHAT'S UP WITH BABY:
Turn on the radio and sway to the music. With his sense of movement well developed by now, your baby can feel you dance. And now that he's more than 11 inches long and weighs just over a pound, you may be able to see him squirm underneath your clothes. Blood vessels in his lungs are developing to prepare for breathing, and the sounds that your baby's increasingly keen ears pick up are preparing him for entry into the outside world.

22 weeks
Well not much happened last week. Randy was in the field from Monday til Thursday. I took Julietta to the pool a couple days with some friends and surprise surprise she got in and loves it! Still FREAKS out if water gets in her face, but it's a big step that she likes to get in! We had some people over Saturday night and just kinda hung out at the house. Most everyone is leaving right after graduation so it was our last weekend with everyone down here. Other than that nothing really happened. This coming week will be our BIG week with Randy's parents coming, graduation, doctors appointment, and leave starting!!!
WHAT'S UP WITH BABY BOY!?
Well he's moving a lot still. We still have no names, but that's okay. I spoke with Aunt Marsha to see if there were any other family names that would have meant anything to dad, but there's not. We would like to do something, but sadly I don't want to stick my kid with Harry. I'm at about 11 pounds to 12 pounds of gain so far. I got addicted to iceepops this past week. I ate a TON of them. Something about the ice and sweet just hit the spot. I mean I turned down ice cream to have these things. That's how much I was addicted. Well, I didn't think they were THAT bad for me until I noticed they had about 100 calories in each one! YIKES! Soooo needlessly to say I think that's where some of the weight this past two weeks came from. So no more!!!Acording to Babycenter he should be at 11 inches and almost 1 pound. He is starting to look like a miniature newborn. His lips, eyelids, and eyebrows are becoming more distinct, and he's even developing tiny tooth buds beneath his gums. His eyes have formed, but his irises (the colored part of the eye) still lack pigment. Inside his belly, his pancreas — essential for the production of some important hormones — is developing steadily. We'll see how he looks this coming friday!
